Room Rentals
Elliot Lake Public Library invites community members and organizations to make use of our accessible program room for public meetings, gatherings and events. To make a booking, contact the library circulation desk.
Rental rates
The rental fees established by the Library Board are listed below. Non-profit groups receive a reduced rate.
- Non-profit room rental, 4 hours – $30
- Non-profit room rental, full day – $45
- For-profit room rental, 4 hours – $60
- For-profit room rental, full day – $90
Rules of use
The following uses of rentable library space are not permitted:
- Private social events
- Gatherings with alcohol service
- Business activities, such as sales or promotions
- Programs that are not suitable for the physical facilities
- Use by organizations seeking to limit attendance on the basis of discrimination, as defined by the Ontario Human Rights Code R.S.O. 2012, c.6, s.1
Program partnerships
The library will consider program partnerships with community organizations and corporate sponsorship of programs if it serves to enhance the library's profile within the community, benefits the library and/or supports our mission.
