Library card

In order to borrow from Elliot Lake Public Library, you must have your own library card. Your card gives you access to a number of materials, including books, magazines, audiobooks, eBooks, eReaders, book club kits, DVDs, CDs and more.

How to get a library card

You can get a library card in person at the library front desk. You will need to show the following:

  • Valid photo identification (e.g., driver's license, passport or health card)
  • Official proof of your current Elliot Lake address (e.g., driver's license, health card, lease agreement, utility bill)

The replacement cost for a lost card is $5. Expired cards will be renewed at no charge.
