Get a bird's eye view of our feathered friends with the Elliot Lake Public Library's Bird Watching Kit!!
These kits are for loan to adults with a valid library card,
Each kit contains:
- One (1) knapsack
- One (1) pair of adult Porro binoculars (with lens cleaning cloth) in carrying case
- One (1) copy of The Young Birder's Guide to Birds of North America by Bill Thompson III
- One (1) copy of Birds: a Guide to Familiar Birds of North America by Herbert S. Zim
- One (1) copy of Birds of Canada - 2nd edition by David M. Bird PhD
- A copy of Bird Watching booklet/journal for children to record their findings.
- Pencil
Policy for Bird Watching Kits:
- Can only to loaned out to adult with valid library card
- One (1) kit per household
- Loan period is two (2) weeks
- No renewals
- Kits MUST be returned to Circulation Desk (NOT in the dropbox) with ALL accompanying materials except for the photocopied booklet for children and the pencil.
