PUBLIC LIBRARY GALLERY

The Elliot Lake Public Library offers gallery space to rent for artists to display their work. Set up and striking of the display is the responsibility of the artist and limited to the hours of operation. Adhesives, nails and otherwise marking of the walls is not permitted. Materials to hang artwork (S-hooks and chains) as well as a ladder are provided. The Library reserves the right to refuse any artwork that may be considered offensive to the general public. Cost for gallery space rental is $25.00 for a two week period.

The Library also has a multi-shelved display case available for rent. The case is equipped with locks and lighting. Arrangement of a display in the case is the responsibility of the artist. Cost for the display case rental is $10.00 for a two week period.

A short bio of the artist in both printed and electronic format should accompany the display.
