DAISY PLAYER

The Elliot Lake Public Library in partnership with the CNIB is now offering the use of a Daisy Player and CDs. Only patrons with a perceptual disability (defined as  a visual, physical or learning disability preventing a person from reading regular print) can use the player and/or the CDs. This is a free service to our patrons.

The Daisy Player may be reserved and is available for a loan period of three weeks. It cannot be renewed nor can you place an advanced reserve on the player.

CDs for this player may also be reserved and are available for a loan period of three weeks. The titles can be renewed or have an extension if the patron has their own player. Currently, only adult titles are available. The collection of titles is rotated approximately every 4 to 6 months. Unfortunately, patrons cannot order or request other titles than those in the collection.
