Borrowing
The normal loan period for books, magazines and talking books is 21 days. Videos and DVDs circulate for 48 hours. By request, a longer loan period is available for patrons on vacation or in hospital.
The following restrictions exist on borrowing:
- Reference and local history materials do not circulate outside of the library.
- A maximum number of 2 non-fiction books on the same subject may be checked out by one patron.
- A maximum of 4 videos or DVDs (total, not of each) per family may be checked out.
- Circulating material may be renewed twice providing that the material is not overdue nor is there a reserve on the material.
